Review - Hair: A Book of Braiding and Styles/Book and 3 Scrunchies (Klutz) (Spiral-bound) by Anne Akers Johnson

Once again Anne Akers Johnson has gone ahead and come up with another interesting book on hair styling entitled Hair: A Book of Braiding and Styles. In her own lucid style she explains how to thread-wrap hair braids, from the basic wrap to fancy spiral and woven wraps. It’s the perfect mix of craft and fashion, all in a perfect package.

This book has been selected as outstanding by the Parent Council and is a Parents' Choice Approved item. Even though this book is for kids, but it has huge adult appeal as well. The card at the back for the catalog says it all. It has two age categories: "I am a kid and was born in the year______" or "According to my birth certificate I am an adult but I deny it!".

Grown ups too can enjoy wrapping each other's hair in embroidery and floss. You can actually have a blast. The book is easy to follow and is great fun. It is an excellent book with very clear instructions. You will be able to make all hair wrap styles with no problem.

It is a practical book and if you have some creativity the sky is the limit! You will enjoy to learn and have fun. This is perhaps the only book that teaches you how to do hair wraps. It is quite detailed and just about anybody will get the hang of it all in no time.
